Please note that this list is by no means exhaustive and if there is any additional support or advice that you require, then please do come in and speak to us, where we will try our very best to help you! 

Online Safety:

The following websites all provide a range of helpful guidance, advice, articles and tools to help you keep your child safe whenever and wherever they go online. For further guidance and support, please refer to the appendix section in our Online Safety Policy.

Action for Children: provides Action for Children protects and supports children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support for children and young people. 

ERIC: offers practical advice around potty/toilet training.

MIND: offers supportive and reliable information around mental health.

BBC Tiny Happy People: offers practical advice around healthy relationships, keeping children safe and provides supportive tips on varying parental topics.

LCC: Getting Ready for School: information and support for parents on how to handle the tranistion to primary school.


Family Hubs: Lancashire: Find support for you and your family from local services both in person and online.

Healthy Lunchbox Ideas: Lots of great ideas for healthy lunch ideas, recipes and tips for your child.

Education:

CBeebies: Lots of fun stories, games, rhymes and shows, featuring lots of familiar children’s characters.

Phonics Play: Offers free phonics games, activities and information to help you and your child on their phonics journey!

Oxford Owl Reading: Offers support to parents with helping your child learn to read at home. Provides access to a free, online reading library.

NRich: Offers lots of ideas, games and activities to support early maths in the home.

Department For Education: Articles, advice and guidance around educational issues concerning children and young people.
