Welcome to Stoneygate Nursery School!

We are a busy, yet extremely friendly nursery school, offering provision for children aged 2, 3 and 4 years old in the heart of Preston City Centre.

We always have lots going on here at Stoneygate and highly recommend that you pop down to pay us a visit to see just what it is that we are talking about! In the meantime, please do take a tour of our website, which aims to give you a taster of some of the adventures that we get up to here in Stoneygate, as well as providing you with a whole host of up-to-date information about our setting and what we offer your child. 

As Headteacher, I strive to ensure that Stoneygate Nursery School is the best that it can be for all of our children. Each and every one of the staff team share in this vision, and are extremely passionate about doing what is best for the children and families that we support.  

We are the only maintained nursery school in Preston and have two, full-time, qualified teachers with a range of teaching experience across early years. In addition, we have a team of highly qualified and experienced teaching assistants and a full-time SENDco on site. I believe that our teaching team have the skills to both nurture, develop and ensure your child flourishes, in order to be as best prepared as they can be, for their next stage in education and beyond. 

We are very proud of our nursery school and its fantastic facilities, and would be delighted to show you around to see these first hand and meet our staff team.
